Water, water, everywhere ...

This lovely lady availed herself of the spa facilities near our bird feeders this morning. She splashed about vigorously and gave herself a thorough wash before hopping on to the edge of the jacuzzi, shaking her feathers and then flying off, her toilette completed. 

It’s been a very wet and quite chilly day, but nevertheless I’m very happy because our eldest granddaughter is on her way to visit for the weekend with her Dad. I’m so looking forward to seeing them.
