Amelanchier

It’s been a lovely day with our eldest son and granddaughter here. Our middle son and middle granddaughter also popped in for a visit this afternoon.

I’ve played lots of games of Connect4 with L, and now Granny and Grandpa are about to play Yahtzee with R & L, so here’s a shot of the emerging amelanchier tree in our back garden, looking very spring-like, that I took earlier in the day during a quiet moment.

Late addendum: Young L achieved two Yahtzees in one game, one of which was with a single roll of the dice! Obviously she was the victor in that game, having scored 50 for the first Yahtzee and 100 for the second. Granny came last both times.  :-(
