Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Gone!

I had heard that the WRVS cafes in several hospitals were closing. I hadn't realised that spurs were affected too. I was quite taken aback to see that the one in the Western is now empty. I imagine it was very useful and always had customers when I passed. How very sad.
On the down side, my physio for my right wrist has taken a back step since I hurt my other wrist last week. On the plus side I don't need a second referral for my left wrist, two for the price of one!
I'm still finding I'm really tired, getting up in the morning is a real struggle which is odd as my jet lag means I'm tired at night. Today I went down to Craigleith for some odds and ends. It had been very wet and windy overnight but calmed down by mid morning. I noticed that Lidl were selling large citrus plants for £20. Some had huge lemons on them. Pricey way to buy lemons though.
We're now half way through series 2 of Happy Valley.
