The work in progress nearly done!

13 months ago, hubbie ripped up lots of our decking with the intention of turfing the area instead. Yesterday, he finally finished turfing it! Ok so the current result is rather patchwork looking and we need to try to improve the quality of the old grassed area, but I am so pleased I no longer have to look at a huge muddy patch and Ethan now has a garden he can play in properly!

I jetwashed the decking tonight - always takes way longer than I think it will and I always end up wet and muddy whilst doing it!

Now, to tackle the hours of weeding which need done, continue reading up on plants which suit our soil, decide whether we're buying Ethan a slide / swing / botoh / something else ... and the garden will be finished!
