Kent Estuary from Hampsfield House

The long drive home began late at 4.00pm. Despite the dull, sometimes wet conditions we made good time with no major holdups along the way. Thankful once again for safe journey.

Our late departure from the Lakes was the result of calling in on other friends who live near Grange for lunch and a catch-up. Today’s blip is from the private road to the house where they have an apartment. It was another typical Lakeland day, plenty of low cloud, drizzle and rain.

Thank you for all your lovely comments, hearts and stars while we’ve been away. I’m looking forward to catching up with you all over the next few days.
