Snowy Sunrise
A lovely morning on the east, snow to the west. It soon cleared into a sunny day. There was a few light snow showers in the late afternoon.
Early shift in the airport again today. I started on the check-in desk first thing, then moved to meeting and boarding flights. A few delays due to ice on the runways and other airports. I was planning to go watch the South Mainland Up Helly Aa this evening, but due to the snow, it's been postponed. Walkies with Sammy, and then an early night.
Another beautiful day in the snow. While we haven't had much from Scalloway and to the south, there has been reports of more heavy snow and drifts north of Lerwick. Not only are the evenings getting longer, so are the mornings. This was the sun starting to rise at 6.13am, on my to work. Taken on the A970 above the Punds, Levenwick.
