A Dull Day on Hoy

It’s been the old Met Office double act today of dull and chilly.  Had phone chats with Mr Mainland and  Shetland.  Put up a new claes line!  Washed the car.  Chopped wood.  It’s knowing when to stop is the problem.  Last night’s dance plans fell through as a late call off meant 5 couple dances weren’t possible.  Had to resort to Lamp Black Lizzie.
 
CMC was amazed this morning.  Although we’ve been together a peedie while now she’d never heard me speak of ‘Sid’ and ‘Finch’ before.  She got quite giggly.
 
I’m on a warning because two other accordion players are coming for a meal in about ten minutes.  And Scullion has done one.
