Getting the green light

This is not as dramatic a photo as from even a few miles away earlier on at, say, Portobello beach as I was a bit late to the event.

But to see from our attic some faint green lights of the aurora in Edinburgh despite the city light pollution is something.

There was colour elsewhere today on Leith Links as the crocuses are in full bloom. Having commented from Lancaster the other weekend it is right to show some local displays. See extra.
