STOP PRESS: JR did not go to the gym this morning. She made good on her oft mentioned ‘day off’.  So - a sleep in, breakfast in bed, and a leisurely read of the papers while Archie and I went out for his morning walk.

Archie and I then went out to meet Tosca and his mum on the Links. The dogs get on fine, and in fact, they went running to meet each other in the middle of the road (no cars around!)

We had a good wander, a few sit downs, the dogs had a wee run around, met some other doggie pals, and then walked across to the cafe. Tosca LOVES cafes (the complete opposite to Archie).

In the afternoon, I settled down for the Scotland/France game (and all the chit chat beforehand, of course) France won, but we nearly gave them a fright…

JR and Archie walked down to Stockbridge to check out the Sunday market.
