Waiting

After our walk, Bertie had to wait for me by the gate while I dropped off some post at the home of the three black cats. 
Earlier in the day, friend C and her brother A came for coffee. Bertie was so pleased to see them and receive all the attention they bestowed that he had to be banned from the room while we had our coffee in peace.
In the early afternoon the sun was shining beautifully and there was blue sky so I took the opportunity to go over to the church with my camera to take some photos for postcards which we hope to produce to sell to the many visitors who call in to visit Dervaig Church with its unusual round tower (Extra). Unfortunately, in the short time it took me to get there, the clouds had blown in and covered the blue sky and sunshine, bringing a smattering of rain. Ah well, another day.
