Making The Crossing

Today's shots were taken on another local photographic safari. My main image was taken just a few yards from home. 
Our nearest main road has been undergoing repair for over six weeks now - I swear they've dug up the same section multiple times. This means an over abundance of traffic lights, barriers and warning signs. 
I just caught this couple as they were trying to navigate all those signs and the pedestrian crossing - which isn't always easy as some drivers are so desperate to get through the roadworks that they ignore people waiting to cross, or even in some cases whilst they're actually on the crossing.
The extra is the front of a nearby old substation - I'm sure you'll agree it's electrifying! :-)
