Flying!

Carys had a wonderful day. Swimming this morning. Daddy dropped W off at N&P's so she had run of the house until party time! After lunch she did her my maths and then we showed her what was inside the garage...a brand new red frog bike! It was picked up from the bike shop yesterday. It is only 9kg and now had a stand attached. It is 62cm in height and quite long but with the seat post all the way down it fits her perfectly. The weight has made a huge difference as she told me it is easier to ride than her blue bike! It was going to be my blip...but I am sure it will feature at some point.

Carys had her birthday party this afternoon (age limit 5 hence W going to N&P's). It was a little chaotic as the kids were excited and the 'coach' didn't really have much of a presence. but I know them all quite well, so control was maintained by the adults! The played bulldog, dodge ball, threw some javelins and discus, high jumped (much to Carys's delight as she was one of only 6 who cleared the bar) and then used the trampette to land on the crash mats! A good time was had by all.

Food was had and then a game of Duck, duck, goose was followed by musical statues and then it was time for home. When Daddy asked Carys what her best bit had been she said "I can't choose, it was all great!"

W returned having had a great day with N&P and both went to bed quite smoothly. We are now having a large glass of some alcohol and a takeaway. What a busy but productive and successful week.
