Waiting
The day started with a lie in for Mummy, then we headed to church. It was a First Holy Communion mass so I almost turned right around and went home, there would be no children's lit and the thought if containing W for an hour in A crowded church made me wobble. I shouldn't have worried, they were both exceedingly well behaved. C was happy as she could read the mass booklet (printed specially so it didn't jump around) and W just wanted to see what was going on.
After a quick lunch we headed to Hatfield to see Tiddler and other Fantastic Stories. My diary said 1.30 but the tickets said 12.45. We were cutting it fine anyway but a bad crash in the A1 didn't help and left us running from the car park, only to find my diary was correct not the tickets and we actually had 45mins to kill.
Kids liked the show, I wasn't as impressed by it as some of the other Julia Donaldson books on stage. Back home Carys opened her mountain of presents from her party. She is one lucky girl. Both kids are whacked so an early night all round.
