Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Look at that wee smile!

I slept much better last night - just a couple of coughing fits. But the cough hasn’t got any better today. In fact, I did a Covid test (negative).

Kim came back with JR after the gym. She wanted to try out the bike. She fell in love with it at first sight (understandably) and went off down the road for a spin. I think she’ll buy it, but will discuss with her husband this evening. She has an ancient (non-electric) Brompton which she has whizzed around London on for years.

Then JR took Archie out, while I went to the chemist to get a few medical supplies. I’ve got Night Nurse capsules, which sound much better than swigging that godawful liquid!

We met Marsha and her dad. The dogs were SO pleased to see each other. I haven’t seen Marsha for ages, and she was quite excited. So I invited her over on Wednesday, when Pip isn’t here.

I then watched ‘Twelve Angry Men’ (1967) which happened to be on in the afternoon. I’ve seen it before, of course, and it’s very dated, but pretty good. In fact, JR came back and I didn’t finish it - but I recorded it when I went out to the shop. I may get around to watching the ending (though I know what happened…)
