Luxuriating

A gift from a work colleague earlier this week. It was well timed. I am admiring the wrapping paper so much I am hesitant to eat the contents.

A warm sunny day so we had a wander by the sea this afternoon. The water was out and the mud flats covered with geese and wading birds. Periodically a large flock of geese would take off into they sky, swoop over head, and land further along the bay. The sight and sound of it was quite spectacular.

On the way to the beach, Merlin visited the pet shop with us and chose a new bed! He appears pleased with it, having barely left it all evening.
