The Traveller
A nondescript day which turned chilly. I was in sole charge and received the fishman and the postie. Martin called from the Hoy Kirk where he is carrying out a major refurbishment. It’s more major now. He reported that the plaster and lath concave roof in the vestibule has collapsed. Not good news. Dancing for the next three nights. If it was compulsory I would be writing to my MSP about it. But not my MP. Before retiring tonight don’t forget to check your wardrobes for acrobats.
Breaking news – Karen arrived and I made her a well fired crab roll.
The days are getting longer. Wayne Shorter is 89.
