Catch of the Day

Weatherwise a very benign day, albeit with hardly a glimmer.  A full early tide made it ideal for a fish off the Swanbister Jetty.  On my wonders I met Kenny who I hadn’t had a blether with for about two years.  I then met Kathleen on my way into Kirkwall, she was excited for tomorrow is her birthday.   Mid afternoon I went in to see Davie in hospital.  Considering how gravely ill he is he still maintains a most imperturbable demeanour.  He is also very easy to talk to and he was asking for everyone.
