Quernstones
On returning from Hoy I went and visited the Care Home. The very first thing my mother said (no hello or thanks for coming etc) was ‘Iain, you’ll have to go to Africa, and buy me a new pair of slippers.’ She didn’t even offer to pay expenses. I went to the Dounby butchers for biscuits and milk, obviously. I called in past Karen’s to check her mail whilst she is away in Ireland. I then started preparing for Project X. Tunnel to Crub.
It’s the Flotta Burns Supper tonight. Back returned at 02.00 hrs. tomorrow.
I hope you are all behaving.
