station

Jess is always very excited when we go to the station as she thinks that someone nice will be coming to visit. Today however, someone nice was leaving - as she realised when Chris disappeared into the train and sped south and out of her life (not forever, of course, but dogs only live in the present). Sarah and I will see him again on Thursday :-)

We had an active kind of day - first a visit to DG1 for swim and sauna, and then after a quick soup lunch at The Usual Place and a stop at Tesco to stock up on flour and home to change clothes, we were off again to Tynron, where we met up with Ian and he, Sarah and Jess went for a run over the hills. I had a lovely walk up Auchengibbert  and Tynron Doon.

Home to make the tea and now I am resting my legs. We are about to watch an episode of "Severance" which is excellent TV but very unsettling.
