CORONET

Another part of my camera collection - welcome to the Coronet Flashmaster.

Coronet were a British Camera Manufacturer who started selling this camera around 1954 for the princely sum of 30/- (£1.50 in decimal money) - now worth around £6 on the secondhand market.

The Coronet Flashmaster has an eye-level viewfinder, with a fixed-focus lens. The body is made from Bakelite, with a metal backplate. Interestingly the pattern on the camera front varied from model to model.

With some luck you could get 12 exposures from the 120 film.

Blippers who are interested in old cameras might like to follow The Slingfilm Project - it sounds like a very interesting adventure.

Have a grand weekend !
