New wheels

Before I go any further, I'm watching a fascinating programme on BBC2 about The London Underground. Well worth catching on the BBC iPlayer if you get the chance.

I had always believed it was electric from the outset, but the original trains were steam, and originally all the different lines belonged to different companies.

But my blip is of the new bike, which I picked up tonight after work. I've only managed to get it home and ride it round the block so far. But tomorrow I intend to ride it to work and back. And a longer ride on Saturday. Now, sunglasses or waterproofs????
