Natural Eye
Kyro didn't want to come upstairs to bed last night so left him on the sofa. However at 2am woken up by barking with Kyro barking at the front door and wagging his tail. It could have been triggered by his half-awake state or someone in the front drive. Sadly, disgusting late nighters frequently use front gardens as their urinal. I settled him upstairs and got back to sleep.
Took him out for a walk at 8.30am. He was perky but I felt tired.
Later in the morning went the the Granary Art Centre in Stapleford. My phone call with A yesterday informed me of this exhibition entitled The Natural Eye with a selection of work from the Society of Wildlife Artists. It was an inspiring exhibition. The last day is tomorrow from 9am-2pm, if as anyone in the area wants to view it.
It's a venue with further exhibitions this year and has an enticing cafe. The cafe was busy today but would be worth visiting in a termtime week.
The blip is entitled Hare on Spade by Harriet Mead.
In the afternoon took Kyro on a different route to a small recreation ground. It caters more for children with play apparatus. Sadly not as large as the rec formerly was before building was allowed on it and which is just round the corner from us.
Haven't caught up with Happy Valley since Winterwatch has been on.
Pleasant evening everyone.
