Winter blossom

Feel like I've been walking through treacle today. OH says the same. Just before setting off to the  market, I found a delivery of sourdough bread on the doorstep.  Not mine. Wasn't neighbour's either. Put the bread indoors do that birds  or foxes wouldnt consume and would try to sort out when I returned home from market.  
Back home a WhatsApp message suggested th3 bakery which delivered the loaf. I rang them and within minutes found who was missing their bread. Walked to end of the road and delivered it. 
Took hound for walk. Thenphoned a friend who had been in hospital since Monday.  She's on immunosuppressants for arthritis and had to come off for antibiotics for an ear infection. Her hand had swelled up and there was a worry of sepsis so had to have an antibiotic drip and see a range of consultants: orthopedic, plastic, ENT and rheumatoid arthritis. Eventually she was discharged yesterday.  She said she had no books to read.  For me, this is an untenable situation.  So as an excuse for OH to run car as sensors state this and that not working and running car stops them getting upset, I gathered a pile of books to take to book-bereft bestie.  
Made mushroom and puy lentil risotto for dinner.
Now I'm cream-crackered.
