Out and about in Essex

This evening, for our dinner, Gareth took me to the Green Dragon in the hamlet of Youngs End, Black Notley. I've never been before but even though it is a twenty minute journey, I will certainly be back. The atmosphere of the place - brickwork and beams - was welcoming and attractive, and the food was good and the service was excellent. It's a Greene King pub, so of course the ale was A+ 

This was at the end of another day remarkably similar, well, ok, essentially the same as all the others this week - but that's ok cos progress is being made and organizing stuff is really rather therapeutic.
