more memories

It must be twenty years since I painted this small, imaginary 'Istanbul in winter' (acrylic on board, 12cmx16cm ) for my Dad at his request. He'd seen an earlier version and asked me to do one for him, and it has hung on the study wall ever since. My one and only commissioned work!  hahaha

Another day of always being occupied including quick a Asda tour and spending money in the Barnardos charity shop, otherwise, just pottering really. Oh, and Phil-the-builder was here most of the day too.

24 hours later: and dear friend and ex colleague Lou saw my post via FB and let me know that the version I made for him still hangs on his wall :)
