.... at the wonder that is the New Granny-Cover, as Katie calls her Granny-made patchworks.

I took a photo of Katie this morning on her way to nursery. She was wearing a rainsuit (it was raining), a big winter hat (it wasnt *that* cold) and summer shoes (it wasn't *that* hot). It was a lovely photo. She had a cute grin, cuddling Monkey and holding a huge bag of fruit she'd put together on the way out the door. I then forgot I'd taken it, formatted my memory card to use it for this afternoon's shoot (which didn't even happen).

Lesley said today that she's been back to Katie again today, really bouncy and happy. Several of the staff commented on it apparently. She was quite loopy from the sound of it. She's very excited because in one of the rooms next to Mummy's work, there's a dance school. We found out today that lots of her nursery friends go there. She's said that next week she would like to try it. Or she said so after I explained that it was ok, she could still do her ballet class.

She devoured another mountain of fruit and promptly curled up to sleep, despite seconds earlier insisting she wasnt tired and didnt need jammies.
