"you're a wizard Harry!"

Whatever possessed me to decide that taking the train to London was a better idea than flying I will never know! But 6hrs after leaving Dundee I arrived in Kings Cross Station for the very first time!

So before I headed for the underground to Euston station I just had to find platform 9 and 3 quarters! :) The fake trolley is usually piled high with a travel trunk and an owl cage for Hedwig, but apparently tourists aren't in the station after 9pm at night! :(

And so to Euston station via the Victoria line underground to meet up with Jayney for a girlie weekend in London - hamster cheek and dribble free this time! This was my first trip on the underground by myself but I was armed with an Oyster card so I tried my best to look like a London commuter whilst carrying 2 travel bags! haha!

Jayney safely delivered from Liverpool and it was back on the tube to Wembley to our hotel! A bit out of the way in terms of travel but we stayed there in the summer, knew it was fine and more importantly couldn't be bothered trying to look for somewhere else! haha!

Looking forward to the weekend now! Friends to see, touristy things to do and a west end show to see! :)
