Definitely got a heavy cold now. Felt a bit groggy this morning so stayed in bed for a while. Got up and felt better so I started on my lust of tasks, including finally putting up the glass baubles that J bought me for Christmas 2021. Not 100% convinced the hook will stay up ( used Command ones) so have pillows etc underneath for a couple of days!
Had just stopped for a cup of tea when Ji called in on her way to the fabric shop. Decided to go with her and we called into the tea shop for late lunch - delicious celery soup. Surprisingly tasty! Saw two other people in there who I know. Love that - feels like I have properly settled in. Rummaged around in the remnants box at the fabric shop and bought a couple of pieces for upholstery. Walked home , tidied up a bit and collapsed on the sofa. Cold much worse in the evening!
