Didn’t sleep well - probably due to my cold I think. Headed off to MK to meet A,A and L for lunch. Nice to catch up but feel I have less and less in common with them. Inevitable for some friendships I suppose. Had partridge for my main course but it was slightly overdone.
A and A wanted to get back to the car park ( they had brought their dog with them) , but L asked me if I fancied a browse around the city centre . We didn’t buy anything, but went for tea in John Lewis and chatted about ex OU people and her retirement plans. I called into Waitrose on my way back to the M1 and finally got home at about 8. Am pleased to have found this spot for it as didn’t think it would be right anywhere else and I wanted to display it
