Memories

A message from R today to say that they had visited the Wedgewood factory in Stoke yesterday and that they will take us there when we visit. 

What she didn’t know is that I visited the factory in 1961-62 on a school trip. We were each given a copy of the picture, which was very generous of the company, the details are on the back. 
We look very smart in our school uniform. 

I bought the small Jasperware dish with my pocket money and surprisingly it has survived all these years. I was able to put my hands on it and the picture quite easily.
