Lazy sunday

...just like that. A lazy-ish Sunday. As Sundays almost invariably are, despite all the best intentions. And so maybe we should just resign ourselves to enjoy it, and so I did.

Running in the morning through the woods around grapevine point, the birchs and aspen leafing out and dancing in the breeze and flickering sunlight. Sucking in earthy organic clean air, exhaled straight from the trees and feeling good. Reading a book, going for a bike ride, hanging the laundry, and sharing a glass of wine on the lake with Matt, Katie, and Vanessa before dinner.

Sometimes I wish time could stand still a little longer up here. A month never seems like enough. I snapped this shot on the trail biking this afternoon around the point. A tunnel of green.
