Copacabana Beach This Evening

A very relaxed day, doing some Christmas present exchanges and some FAQ-ing in the place we bought my new step counter (how to charge the damn thing!), before a steak-on-hot-stone lunch at our favourite Real Chopp.   Then, some spoon and ice tray purchasing for the flat in the place we bought so many of our utensils and glasses when we first refurbished the place over ten years ago.  The beach side walkway called us down and we went all the way along and out to the fort for a look see and some different perspectives of the bay.   After that, it was into Tok Stok (a Habitat-type furniture and home fittings store) on the look out for a new lamp and, possibly, chair.  A return stroll along the sea front brought us back to Rua Santa Clara and a perpendicular ten minute hoof brought us to Tipicamente for some toasted cheese and ham sandwiches and a game or two of Yahtzee!  Now, in bed catching up with the news footage of Pele’s courtage.
