A selection of shots from inside our favourite shopping centre, the first ever in Copacabana which opened in the 1960s and retains a certain charm from that period.  The shops are mainly small independent units, some untouched in sixty years, and others brushed up with a modern feel.  The first floor has a music theatre and also many antique shops which is what the place is most famous for.   There’s also a large supermarket, church and many food outlets.  You can also ‘live above the shop’, Bloc C (entrance shown) being one of many. You would never have to leave the site, if you didn’t want to!

We love coming here, particularly on a Saturday morning.
