Now That’s Better

We had a warm but dreary day. I left hubby a voice message yesterday at 10:30 am. Guess when he finally received it? This morning around 4:00 am. Like most folks, being awakened by a strange ring in the middle of the night, is unsettling. Neither of us could get back to sleep. That’s not the only weird behavior with his phone lately. I’m encouraging him to ask the Apple tech to look at it. I did laundry, cleaned a bit, ordered meds, etc. At some point, I found a leaky toilet. Lucky for me, our BIL was at my son’s delivering stuff to Parker. Turns out the handle on a flexible pipe carrying the water supply just needed to be tightened. Call me clueless. I sat down to do some paperwork and Millie jumped up to join me. You can see how thin she is. But she is almost her old self again. Thank You, Lord! She and Blanche snuggled with me until it was time to leave for Kristen’s. Hubby was out running errands including picking up my mother’s iPhone so she can get calls. She is enjoying being pampered by Renee so she is content to be at Jamie’s. This may be my last visit with “the big dogs” for awhile depending on what time Kristen gets home tomorrow. It is supposed to be stormy in their flight path, drats! Hubby is bringing up leftovers for dinner later. Today sure was less stressful! Thanks for dropping by. Take care and stay healthy.
