Sally Mair - Loving life

Happy New Year everyone, let's hope its a good one.
So many things to improve on the events of 2022.
It seemed very appropriate to start the new year on Sunday and with a church service. I know it happens regularly but it does seem special and right.
I was serving on church today, a smallish congregation of 26, but a very positive feel to it all. The hall was full of laughter at coffee time afterwards.
Ali and Josie popped in this afternoon and first footed us, I'm not sure either fits the bill as a tall dark stranger but I'm very happy with what I got thank you!
This little group of toadstools were growing in the wall in the front garden. I spotted them while waiting for Ali.
We had lamb for our New Year's dinner, it was delicious and done to a turn. We're half way through the second of our three Christmas puds too, so all on schedule there.
This evening was spent dozing in front of the TV , we were on good form with University Challenge and watched an Only Connect too.
We also watched the last episode of Granite Harbour. Not convinced that the story line holds true, but maybe it's all setting the scene for another series.
Thank you to everyone who drops by my journal and to those who take the time to comment and give awards. Every one is appreciated!

I forgot to put the link on Friday for the art quiz, so here it is now. There's no deadline so it doesn't matter that it's late. I was delighted with 9/10. Good luck.
