Wet walk

Happy new year everyone.

We had a bit of a lie in and cuppa while reading the paper.   I prepped dinner and cranked up the automatic oven and then we set off for a long walk.  It was wet and muddy so we avoided the river and kept to the tracks.  My boots were comfortable but socks a disaster and kept falling down inside my boots!  Home after 10k and dinner was almost ready - and it was lovely to eat and be cleared away by 2.30.  OH streamed the game and his team won!!  I watched a few episodes of Emily and did some of my tapestry.  Easy start to the new year.
