Wintry (Day 2780)

It was a bit of a slippery run to town in the truck this morning with my beautiful wife to get the weekly shopping. It seems gritters don't work on Sundays in Orkney.
It was still a bit slithery on the way through to Stromness later on to check on the horses, and the road into the field was sheet ice. I am fairly sure that the weather forecast had suggested there would be a thaw. Seems the forecast was a lie.
After the hoss check, I got out a slippery wander with Sigyn. Watching her slowly slide down a slope after I had asked her to stand still was quite amusing. Despite the stormy looking sky, we had a dry walk.
