Another snowy walk

The snow is lingering, it remains cold so it is not melting as quickly as it usually does. I also have noticed how at this time of year the sunrise and sunset almost merge into one, there is often a pale glow in the sky all day as if the sun is about to set - you can just see it here and this was taken in the morning..

Last night we had a lovely camera club Christmas dinner. I was reluctant to join a camera club ever since I started photography but I am pleased I joined this club as the members are all very nice and we do seem to get better judges than most (possibly because one of our members is on the Surrey judges committee). 

After my walk with Xena I had an appointment at the hygienist, yikes it has got so expensive. My car went in for a service and MOT today and that turned out to be very expensive too - Apparently I have a cracked alloy but thankfully when we bought the car 5 years ago we took insurance on that so hopefully the excess won't be too much. I will only get my car back tomorrow as they had to order in a new allow, it won't pass the MOT without replacing it.

My cold is much better, I even managed a run this morning.
