The road to …. is paved with good intentions and so the evening proved.
Bit of housework followed by some Christmas shopping before settling down with the pros & cons of iMac v Windows bumph to read up on. Not sure why, we have made our decision, we are just waiting on delivery.
Part of the online shopping is stocking up on Kindle books for me to read in the coming weeks, particularly looking forward to ‘Black Gold’ by Jeremy Paxman, the story of coal mining in Britain.

The evening was taken up with three of my rugby club friends at the Athenaeum Club. The plan was for a “couple of quiet ones” which turned into a gallon of beer before heading home.
Fortunately I arrived after Mrs S and her friends had finished ‘Gin Club’.
