Ten Little Volunteers

And then there were two;
One no longer coming, one working away, one left early, one taken ill shortly after arriving, one has an ill wife to care for, one is ill himself.
So we dwindle away to the minimum to get anything done.
The club doesn’t help itself though, big day this coming Saturday and aside from a couple of our ladies to get the decorations up and one lone guy trying to fill the walls with memorabilia there is no apparent coordinated plan of what needs doing and who is doing what for Saturday, or most other days. Touch, 2nd and 1st team matches all taking place and we expect a half decent turn out, it’ll be alright on the day, we always seem to bumble through.

Having dropped one of the guys home I took the opportunity to get next weeks Christmas Lunch purchased and stored. Four course meal for eight works out at around £15 a head. I will be cooking and I’m looking forward to the day.

Mrs S has stumped up the £££’s for a replacement iMac, the order is in and we await a phone call. Since it went down I have discovered just how versatile my iPhone is, conducting all of my day-to-day stuff on this small screen. We have a portable hard drive on order and the plan is to store the photos on that.
