Chibottes

My first day off was spent with Maryline. We met at lunchtime and walked together with to her parents house for lunch - potato gratin, always good! We sat in the garden chatting for a while and it was really lovely. We met a friend of Maryline's a went for a walk in Vals, past the Chibottes. The sun came out and it was peaceful, if a little muddy!

Finally went to the supermarket, and bought a wealth of things I didn't need. Now I have a job I seem to be permitting myself to both eat and buy whatever I want... not helpful! A quite evening in with Skype that was not at all expected, I think I'll take from this that I should never write embarassing letters because they will come back to haunt me! I also learnt that 16 year old me was just as much of an idiot as current me, if a little less cynical and wary!
