A May day in Argyll
Actually you can tell it's May: the grass is suddenly very green (it was a dusky yellow for long enough) and the trees are bursting with that wonderful green froth of new growth. And if you look carefully, you'll see lambs. The tend to cower in the lee of their mums rather than gambol, but they are lambs nonetheless. But when I took this photo, around 5.30 in the afternoon, the temperature was 8º Celsius and the sky above Glen Massan was a deep purple colour. Actually, the brightness at the top of the picture was a pale sun appearing momentarily, but it didn't linger.
The sky, annoyingly, cleared completely around 8pm. Too late to be any use to me...
