Loganair Christmas Gansey Day
Woke up to no snow! There had been thunder and lightning through the night, all the snowed thawed. Still a cold day with showers, wintery at times.
Last early shift of the week. Left the house in a rush this morning, forgot my security pass, so it's been a day working on the check-in desk only. Delays on Aberdeen, due to ABZ closed for snow in the morning. Everything else on time. Popped by Madeline's before tea, while walkies with Sammy. Picked up friend Julie, and we met mam and Laura in Lerwick for late night Christmas shopping, and a cuppa in the Dowry. Feet up by the fire now.
Christmas gansey (jumper) day has arrived again, and to keep in with the cheer, most of us had a cheery gansey on and made our donations. The passengers like the festive cheer too. Just as we were about to snap, we grabbed two of our pilots, which I've not met before, and Emma from Survitec, who briefly worked with us at check-in. L-R - Me, Mollie, Lee, pilot 1, Caitlin, Dennis, Emma, Megan, Sam and pilot 2. Taken at the Christmas tree, Sumburgh Airport.
