Home fires burning

It was cold and bright again today. Church was cancelled as both the church wardens are recovering from Covid and, with no heat in the building, it did not seem a good idea to go ahead, particularly as a lot of people are away anyway. I went for a walk up to the belvedere. I was overtaken by several trail runners. There were three trails organised today for Telethon, the big french annual charitable fund raiser.
