Blowing the cobwebs away!

Cracking nights sleep, much overdue. Woke with excess baggage under my eyes!

Beautiful blue skies and sunshine in guernsey. Perfect for the liberation day events here.

Lovely breakfast and coffee and then we go for a little wander before driving up to Bordeaux for a coffee on dads seat we have there.

Afterwards we go for a coastal walk around L'ancresse, very blustery up there but still warm when sheltered.

We drive down the coast to Cobo and spot crowds watching car and motorbike racing on the beach. Love watching this, so we hopped out to view.

Driving further down the coast to portelet and time for a crab sandwich and a pot of tea in the sunshine.

We drive back towards the hotel and have another walk around a very windy Jerbourg. The mist starting to roll in a little.

Dinner out a the lovely la piazza in town, before returning to Jerbourg to watch the Liberation Day fireworks going off in St Peter Port.

It's now cold, dark and v v windy, time for a whisky!
