Craft Fair

Another local craft fair, this time at Bourne Hall. It looked as if pretty much everything was genuinely hand made, and I bought some beeswax furniture polish, some knitted fingerless gloves for a Christmas present for a friend, and a tiny Christmas decoration in the form of a knitted teddy.

Evie is still with us and that's her in the photo. She has to go home tomorrow and we'll miss her.

Bourne Hall houses the library where I used to read to young children, and I called in to say hi to the librarian that I worked with. We had many happy times together dressing up for special events: as pirates and elves, mainly!

My story is still going around in my head. I think my first move is to write a detailed synopsis but it's hard to do without the word count pressure of November.
