Fell Foot, Windermere

Our 11th wedding anniversary today.  How time flies.  We exchanged cards and presents and popped out for breakfast to celebrate.  From Harry's Bar to Fell Foot for a walk around the grounds while the sun was still shining.  Surprisingly, unbusy there.

The latest update on Dad is that an operation on his leg was considered unnecessary,  Instead he will wear a leg brace for several weeks.  Tomorrow is the earliest the hospital will consider discharge but that will depend on a suitable care plan.  Lots of difficult discussions going on within the family about short term/long term possibilities.  I finally managed to speak to him on FaceTime this afternoon.   He finds it very painful to put weight on his leg and he was finding walking very difficult.
