Catherine Mary

My paternal grandmother's birthday today.  She was born in 1910 and I think they got married in 1932.  I didn't know my Grandad as he died the year before I was born but Granny was alive until the 1990s.

Quite a character - could be rather dogmatic - but loved singing, amateur dramatics, her home, family and garden.  I didn't know her as well as my material grandmother but I wish, now,  I had known her more.
