Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire
On our way to BoA this morning, stopped off at the hospice HQ at Winsley, to drop off the £400 of donations collected at the service on Tuesday. Once in BoA, a walk/wheel along the River Avon to the 14th century Tithe Barn (at 51 metres long, one of the largest medieval barns in England, built to serve Barton Grange, the richest nunnery in medieval England), then on to the Canal Trust cafe, only to find it was shut! So back to the cosy cafe at the Tithe Barn for a warming hot chocolate.
With my brother heading home on Monday, we’re trying to get Dad (and me) out and about as much as poss, while we can. But at the same time there’s a mountain of paperwork/bureaucracy to be dealt with. It’s a very difficult and tiring balancing act...
Thank you.
