Fallen leaves

It had rained overnight and anyway there were not enough takers for tennis this morning so, instead, I wrote a talk for the next service I have to take. It has been coldest day for a long time. I had to put a jumper and jacket on! I went for a walk through the woods on the other side of the valley. There were so many fallen leaves burying rocks on the path that I had to step carefully. Visiting ringers have arrived and we will practice with them tonight and then join them for tapas afterwards.
